Pakistan and India to face off tonight at World Championship of Legends 2024 | The Express Tribune

The stage is set for an exciting showdown as Pakistan and India’s legendary cricketers gear up to face each other in the 8th match of the World Championship of Legends today.

For Pakistan, players like Younis Khan, Shahid Afridi, Abdul Razzaq, Misbah-ul-Haq, and Saeed Ajmal will be in action.

They will be up against India’s formidable lineup, featuring Yusuf Pathan, Yuvraj Singh, and Irfan Pathan.

This match is set to start at 8:30 PM Pakistan time.

Both the teams have been undefeated in the WCL 2024 so far as the Green Shirts managed to defeat Australia and West Indies while the Blues overcame England and West Indies.

India currently leads the WCL points table with four points from two matches, sharing the same points as Pakistan. However, India’s superior Net Run Rate (NRR) of +1.457 places them ahead of their arch-rivals.

In their tournament opener, India chased down a 166-run target to defeat England. Their second match saw them secure a 27-run victory against the West Indies via the DLS method.

Pakistan, on the other hand, kicked off their campaign in style by chasing down a 190-run target against Australia. In their second match, they set a target of 195 runs and successfully defended it.

With both India and Pakistan undefeated and in excellent form, the upcoming clash promises to be a thrilling contest between the two rivals.
