Babar Azam achieves major milestone in Test cricket


Former Pakistan skipper, Babar Azam, has achieved a significant milestone by playing his 50th Test match of his career against Australia in the opening Test that commenced today.

Newly appointed Test captain Shan Masood honored the occasion by presenting Babar with the 50th Test cap and a souvenir.

The 29-year-old becomes the 32nd Pakistan player to achieve this feat, highlighting his substantial contribution to the team’s legacy. 

The right-hand batter has accumulated a total of 3772 runs, boasting an impressive average of 47.47. 

This remarkable performance comprises 26 half-centuries and nine centuries, with the highest individual score being 196 runs achieved against Australia.
